Our aesthetic at Kina Kouture derives from Coco Chanel's approach to fashion, with a focus on simplicity and juxtaposition.

Owners Kina & Bert Halle opened the store to inject a strong dose of couture fashion and eclectic style into the Tampa Bay area.

Our Name

Kina's favorite martini is made with a French apéritif called Kina Lillet.  It was named after female double agent Vesper Lynd in the movie Casino Royale. The "Vesper Martini" as invented by James Bond:     Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet.  Shake       until ice-cold, then add a slice of lemon peel.

— James Bond in Ian Fleming's Casino Royale For a more contemporary take on the Vesper Martini, try this recipe:     6 Parts Gin, 2 Parts Vodka, 1 Part Lillet Blanc     Shake gin, vodka and Lillet with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
